Robert, the son who stayed

Robert White was farming Carrowhugh with his mother in 1901 (aged 30) and in 1911 (aged 44, single). Record

Find a Grave lists a Robert White who died in 1956 in St Finian's graveyard at Greencastle, next to James and Mary. Record That is most likely him, having kept the farm all his life.

The tree says Robert died in October 1967 in the Bronx, New York. That is probably a different Robert White, attached by mistake.

How to settle it: photograph the 1956 headstone at St Finian's, and ask locally who had the White farm after Robert.
